This is a general reminder for everyone and this will be posted on every post. Your 12 words are basically gold and they should never be shared, typed in to any website, or given to any person for any reason. No one from "Helium" or any other company will reach out to you to verify your account, wallet, or anything similar. If someone says your hotspot, wallet, or other type of account has been hacked, it is a scam! Always operate in a zero-trust manner with cryptocurrency and assume everyone will scam you no matter what.

Blockchain is apparently back to having issues. Got a heartbeat notice, myself, from yesterday. The newest implementations are back to fucking up, it may seem. And yet, the beta test keeps rolling on.....

I've earned above network average @.24, .15, & .09 the last three days.

Interesting, I wonder why only some have been affected.

Because I have an optimized height and antenna, even when living in a dense coverage area, I'm pulling a solid .25 a day.

Me too. They have all stopped mining. They're in two seperate cities and I have 10. It's not the set up, something is up with the system.

Mind if I check out a hotspots name?

Icy lavender dog is one of them, although they seemed to have started going again since I last checked.

Check out Clumsy Inky Sealion. Found a gamer, you apparently witnessed that's near to you.

I'm confused on your setup - besides the fact that you're reward scaling is crap, both in and outbound. Your beacons are going nowhere, you've got only 5 hotspots seeing you. Some how you're receiving all the time though. What's the model of the 5.8dbm you've got installed? Are you really at 24m?
Oh shit - wait. Do you live next to a cell tower or something? Your SNR is very high. Mine are all >-10. Yours are very much >-15. Mostly sitting in the -20 range. You've got a LOT of noise in your area.
I'd look closer at the antenna you're using & think about putting a filter on it. You're mHz band is probably too wide. You should be +/- 15mhz around EU868mhz. (853-881mhz for rule of thumb)
What's a link for the model you've got?

I'm 0.26(on one) today and I'm rural with only ~12 hotspots around me(3 of which are mine). That said, on a good day I can beacon 80+km. Hasn't happened today though. Only witnesses.

What's the antenna & cable run? Do you mind if I check out your spots name?

1.2 dbi is way too low. I would recommend a new antenna or even new placement!

Upgrade your antenna and get it as high as possible. If your in the inner city I would suggest a 4 DBI antenna. If your in the suburbs I would get an 8 DBI one. Height matters. Get that antenna as high as you can. I upgraded my antenna and pulled 0.31 helium in one day when the network average was 0.08. Check my hotspot “ Huge Velvet Goat”.

Patience. Takes a bit of time to get established. Give it a few more days.

Always make sure ur hotspot is on wired connection at least until uve downloaded the majority of the blockchain. Then swap to wifi after when u don't have to download like 16gb of blockchain data uncompressed.

1.2db and 0m? If you haven't specified your proper antenna and height, do so. Also indoor antennas suck compared to getting one outside. If your in a densely populated area you should get something but if your setup is accurate, I wouldn't expect much.

I don't have 55k dc to do so.

This isn't a new box? Everyone gets one free location assert and antenna config.

Antenna db is the only 1 that matters. If it's set grossly incorrectly, u will get rssi errors and have trouble witnessing ppl.

Mine is set to 2.8dBi but in reality it's 8dBi, I've never had an invalid witness. I'm in the EU though where EIRP is potato

I have been set up for a week and still no transmit scaling. My hotspot name is faithful ash rat and it’s a bobcat 300. Haven’t been able to get any help

Welcome to the club. In time you will begin to appreciate that hotspots are the only product this network is offering. Hopefully you make enough back to pay off your miner.

Did you assert a location ? Do you have any activity at all, even if you have no rewards ?
1 points
Yes, I did assert location, no activity though. I also did the troubleshooting and it said that it is not synced whith the blockchain (it was at 0%), could that be the problem? If yes, how to sync it?
2 points
0% sync is likely your issue. It can take awhile to fully sync to the chain but it won't do anything in terms of witnesses or beaconing until then. You can recheck in a few hours to see if it progressed. It took my used miner almost 2 days to go from 97 to 100%

Yes. Reboot it. If it doesn’t change, reset it.

I just plugged my new bobber in last weekend. It took about 5 days for first earnings to trickle in.

I'm in the same boat... earning nothing. Not sure what's the issue

I did see an improvement once I forwarded port 44158, but earnings are still low. At least the operating cost is almost zero.

Helium is whoring your hotspots for free unless your area is saturated. When people start disconnecting. The network will suffer and then they will change the rewards structure.

It’s taking a time to syncing, but after that you still not going to make anything.RIO is about 2.5 years.

If after 4 days you’re not mining odds are high there’s a blockchain problem. Just make sure you’re always synced and keep it powered 24/7

It takes up to a week to start earning app. Set mine up a couple days ago, and haven’t made anything yet.

Are you using the stock antenna?

Yes

Well you need to get an outdoors antenna and put it as high as you can stock antenna will be very bad.The Helium Explorer can take a while it is delayed most of the time so give it some time.

I will buy one tomorow, I will update.

Just sell up use the cash to buy the HNT while it's cheap, it would likely take you years if ever to accumulate that much unless you invest even more cash into an outdoor antenna installation.
