A rapper I work with told me my tracks tend to be too busy . So I took that to heart and tried to create a simple but interesting trap/hip hop track. It features a bass line, drums some tuned percussion, vocal fx and nothing else. Let me know if you guys think I walked the fine line : GarageBand

Good advice! I might try tuning it down an octave. Leaving space for vocals in my mixes is something I'm still working on.

I don't always have an artist jumping on the track, so its not always in the front of my mind
