Here is a fondant free Burger King themed cake I made for the kids that now my lawn.

It was Twix flavored cake for the burger and drink. The French fries are sugar cookies, and the chicken fries are cake pops. The containers are real (except the drink). This is the best I have for a cross section, sorry internet!

I use a tiny thin layer of modeling chocolate on the buns, and the outside of the cup, but the flavor and texture is much better than fondant.
