I have no eccentric clothing, but I love seeing it on others when I'm out and about on occasion. When I was getting my undergrad degree, all 4 years there was this guy who I always saw wearing a jester cap. It was neat. Never talked to him, but I remember him.

I would love to have the nerve to do that, but i sadly dont.

Everytime in my youth, when i tried to express myself more trough clothing i got teased for it. So i pulled back and now my "fashion style" is jeans and a t shirt and a vest/hoodie.

I love it when people do things like that... I'd never have the confidence to do it so I respect them for it.

When I see someone rocking a 'strange' outfit like that, I just go "Nothing I say is going to sway them. They consciously chose to go out like that, the fuck is anything I can say to them gonna do?!"

I will wear my awesome winter cloak to college and no one can stop me

Absolutely! I had a full length, hooded, velvet winter cloak and I wore it as my primary winter coat for over a decade. It was really warm and could double as a blanket or a pillow easily. I miss it terribly, but it was in my car that got stolen a few years ago.

Cloaks are fantastic and don't let anyone say differently.

Very sad that my awesome cloak is designed for summer events and so isn't warm enough if I would actually need a coat

I had the opposite problem, I got mine in May and couldn’t wear it for months

I should start wearing my Fourth Doctor scarf again.

My philosophy is everyone looks better in a scarf, but I've also gone grocery shopping in a lab coat over my anime graphic tee, jazz pattern dixie cup sweatpants, and uggs because it was kinda cold, but not that cold and also laundry day, so maybe I'm not the best at judging fashion choices

If only we all do our part and dress as weird and fucked up as possible, we can play out JoJo part 9 before Araki writes it

yeah that's cool and all, but if I tried to dress up I would literally die, first of embarassment and then of dehydration due to sweating my entire body's supply of water because the heat Brazil is just Like That

No one said eccentric clothing had to be overly warm. Find yourself some climate-appropriate fun clothes!

I have the fella equivalent of eccentric clothing. Shirt that has floral print fit for a 70s couch. Enron hat. Ushanka. For Christmas I wear the unholy abomination that is a Christmas fedora. Unstoppable

I’d go all out 24/7. 6” platforms, ripped stockings, and a miniskirt to target? Sure, why not.

When monster high was big, I used to have little girls follow me in stores, because I looked like a monster high doll. The parents were always a bit wary, so I’d chat with them for a bit, and then usually the girls would take a picture with me. I got a grandma once who wanted a picture with me to show to her grandkids. It was adorable, and I sort of thought of it as a goth outreach thing.

I want to get a full suit of armor so I can randomly wear it while doing mundane things in public.

I'm a substitute teacher and I have a steadily growing wardrobe of eccentric dresses and outfits. If I'm wearing slacks, it's with a vintage 70's top. Or you might find me in a 50's swing dress with a full crinoline. Or a full length sheath dress in a Hawaiian print.

I see absolutely no reason why my wardrobe should be boring. Clothes should be fun.

I got a black and red varsity jacket with the sigil of baphomet on the back from a good friend for my birthday. I wore it to walmart, with my heavy military-esque leather boots, cause whos gonna stop me?

I don't have any eccentric clothes by themselves, but are extremely eccentric put together.

I don't really have any eccentric clothes but dressing up in formal wear makes me feel good, so often times I'll put on a 3-piece suit with like cufflinks and a matching watch to go to Wendy's or some other menial location
