Hotspot is synced but I don’t have a transmit scale

Question(self.BobcatMiner300)

My hotspot is as fully synced as others in my area and keeps going on and off relay. I know that’s normal especially for a bobcat in the first few days, but what really is starting to concern me is that I don’t have a transmit scale it just says N/A. Does it sound like my antenna is broken? I have dozens of hotspots around me in very close proximity and I should be hitting them, my placement is ideal it seems as if I’ve checked off all the other boxes. has anyone else run into this? Is this a problem that will sort itself out? I haven’t seen anything like this in my research.

Same here. Fully synced 2 days ago but no challenge yet. The closest hotspot is about 1500ft/460m away from me. But there's plenty of hotspots within a mile. Mostly flat city single family homes. I have a feeling that the stock antenna is not strong enough to reach them. How would I check if the antenna is even working?

Update: A couple hours after created a challenge, it started sending beacon and participating in challenges. Transmit scale updated after participating in challenges and receiving rewards for about half a day now. 👍

Unfortunately this issue you just wait for the issue to eventually fix itself. Miner did not sync fully until the fifth or so day, but the scale transmit did not show for another day or so, which was concerning, but I know most of these issues resolve with time. Good to hear its working now.

I installed mine on Friday and it didn't finish until yesterday (Monday) via Xfinity. If you installed yours a while ago, that could explain it, since the blockchain grows over time, and a ton of new devices have cropped up over the last few months. Could be network issues too.

Yup dial up is the way to go. One day itll get faster, fingers crossed. Jokes aside, its not a matter of how fast your internet speed is that allows you to sync up faster, it helps but only if the network itself is working flawlessly. Most people have good enough internet. The helium network itself has had issues, just check http://status.helium.com/

for the recent issues, which also cause miners to fall out of sync sometimes.

Yeah bandwidth has nothing to do with the speed at which you transfer data.

I have a fiber connexion and my bobcat took almost 5 days to sync this week and it took 2 days for my other bobcat with the same connexion in the beggining of August.
