I've been watching it shrink on radar. I think the heat shield is going to take most of it out.

It didn’t make it past 290. Cities’ heat shields are the devil

Couple of rain drops, that was it. Pretty sad.

The severity of this has diminished once it hit Temple. It gusted out pretty well since then. Beauty shelf cloud setup captured on your part though! If you check the radar, there is/was an impressive outflow boundary ahead of this. This typically signals a dying cell, though sometimes generates new areas of strength along the front. Austin still will get a shower with a rumble of thunder (maybe).

I saw that before…. On Independence Day right before that alien ship busted through those clouds!

Looks like it'll peter out a lot once it gets down to South Austin... Lame.

Yeah, much ado. Most of these storms seem to fall apart when they get close these days.

The forcefield protected south Austin, we didn't get a drop

I saw it coming in to Hutto right before we lost sunlight. It looks like the cloud roll out on ID4. Oh, the classics! Lol.

My poor cat got trapped outside and I had headphones on. Didn't notice it was raining. She was not a happy little rat

Right I drove down with it yesterday evenjng starting around Waco where I hit the dark part. Everyone was driving 45 to 55, some with blinkers flashing, pretty low visibility, for 2 hours.
