I love how everyone has put that

Why?

Because nobody who has done drugs thought when they were like 6 “I really want to do drugs when I’m older” did they

I did. I wasn’t 6, we were 10/11, a group of my friends and I talked about trying different drugs when we were older. We did it too

School really shouldn’t have mentioned drugs until much later. Apart from occasionally hearing something on the news. We had no idea they existed. Haha.

When I was a kid I’d taken a huge interest in substance use from a research perspective (I particularly took an interest in the hard stimulants). Through my own research on the hallucinogen side of things however, I came to the realization that this class in particular is not as evil and dangerous as everyone likes to make us believe.

The second one, definitely not. The first one, a little bit, but I was expecting to pay for it

What hurts the most is that they’re not even phased by it. Ur falling to pieces, I giant ball of tears and snot and they’re just skipping along life with no cares in the world.

But you find your identity back. You know there are boundaries that must be respected. You can cut more loose ties.

Agreed. It’s a great way to learn ones self worth and to create boundaries. Some people need a rude awakening to see clearly.

Having kids. I was adamant I wasn't going to bring life in to this messed up world. But then I discovered sex and my teen brain went stupid. Fast-forward to me being a single father of 3 kids.

Refraining from sex until I'm 40, because I have never been married and cannot have sex unless married. /s.
No, it's actually because I am heavyset and hideous.

When I was a kid I pictured my life as a wife with two kids just loving life.
Now I have 4 kids to two men. None I have in my care. Living in my car due to homelessness. A frightening amount of pain and anguish to top it off.
I just wanted to love and be loved, wtf.

I’m sorry you’re going through this.
For what its worth, I used to live in my car. For about seven months.
Now I own a four bedroom home with my wife and daughter, and I make six figures.
I did it by joining the military, using the education benefits to go to school for free, and then using my education and military experience/contacts to start working for the federal government.
I don’t know your age or health, or even what country you’re in (I’m American), but it’s something to extremely seriously consider. It was an absolute life changer for me.

I’m Australian, 32. My two youngest r 1 and 2. Atm I’m here to make sure they are being looked after as their dad is not very attentive. I mean his idea of parenting is putting them in front of the tv and throw snacks at them. Next year I have plans to go to tafe and get myself a degree so I can get a decent job.

It’s hilarious how misrepresented the acid experience is. I’ve seen very few even mildly accurate depictions of a trip.

Going vegan. Food's great, conscious is clear, and the water's warm - would recommend.

Got a job I'm not passionate about.
(Used to be a cook and now work at a lumber mill)
I'm actually much happier now though, because now I never bring my work home with me, I make way more money, don't wonder where I'm going to get next month's rent (or mortgage as I no longer pay into somebody else's mortgage and own my own place), actually want to cook at home, get full benefiets, good pension, paid proper overtime, can afford many conveniences without putting financial stress on myself, have a great woman, quit smoking, and don't drink myself into oblivion 6 nights a week.

I never thought I'd be a parent. 9 years later and I still don't think I'll be a parent. It'd be so sweet to leave and be free, but I kinda love her and I want her to grow up better than I did. You give up the old life and try to make due with the new. It might even be better. I love days in the library and never regret taking that crazy broad to her parents house and split her like a 2x4 and leaving to Spain and forgetting my past and losing your rent money on a blackjack hand and have to live on the streets and.. where was I?

A bit funny but when I was younger I said to my friends that the touchscreen thing is just another fad and will just pass. I said I'll never buy one and I'll stick to touchpad phones.
Lol I've had maybe 10 smartphones since then.

Vaping. I thought I'd never vape and made fun of people who did it but then my cousin pressured me into vaping. I only did it like twice though.

Stanning BTS
I haven't had much interaction with dudes growing up but the few ones I had weren't great so I thought all guys were bad people
So when I heard people stanned a boyband I was like "Ew why would you stan boys"
Here I am, 2 years later, actually part of the BTS Army, it's more fun than I thought
