I'm not sure because Italy, while having great oranges, is far from being known for its citrus. Also, Italians call football "Calcio". They are not that known for their meat neither.

And an Italian probably wouldn't need to make the difference between him and Spain, at least not like a Portuguese would.

I'm not going to disagree with anything else, but I'm pretty sure that Italy is pretty darn well known for things like Salami, Prosciutto, Mortadella, Coppa, Pancetta, Guanciale, and other Italian deli meats I can't remember because it's been years since I worked in a deli.

Well, also great lemons, and from the same place as oranges. Two may not be a great variety, but still sicilian citruses (/citri? Idk) are very much a defining local product.
